Safety Necklaces: Why You Need Them To Protect Yourself

You can never, ever be too careful, especially as a young woman. That’s why, when it comes to safety items to carry on your being, never leave your home with some type of safety whistle, loud noise charm, pepper spray, or the newest must-have: invisaWear.

invisaWear is jewelry that can save your life. These trendy bracelets and necklaces look like everyday accessories, but they are actually safety devices backed by America's #1 security provider (ADT). Double-click the button on the backside to immediately text a GPS location link to up-to five emergency contacts to let them know you need help. You can also enable the free 9-1-1 feature (US only) to connect with 9-1-1 dispatchers. With the click of a button, when you’re in danger, help is on the way.

YG InvisaWear Holiday2021 NYE 6Backstory: One night, Rajia Abdelaziz was walking back to her car when a car full of guys rolled down the window and started yelling inappropriate comments--the car stopped and one of the guys started to get out. Luckily, Rajia was able to run and get in her car, unharmed. Though she was now safe, Rajia felt completely helpless. Although her phone was right in her purse, she didn’t have that split second to call the police. So, Rajia (invisaWear's CEO) and Ray (invisaWear’s CTO) first started working on invisaWear while in college—eventually coming up with safety jewelry with a GPS tracker.

Never forget, it’s so crucial for your family and friends know your whereabouts. You never know if someone will try to harm you, or if you’re in a serious car accident and need assistance. It’s so scary to think about, but better to be safe than sorry.

“To me, invisaWear isn’t just a piece of jewelry that provides assistance when in danger, but much more provides insurance of my safety in my mind,” Mahiya, age 16, told Rajia.  “I know that I feel more safe wearing my invisaWear, and won’t have to be so much on edge while alone. InvisaWear makes me feel more confident in public and once again, makes me feel assured of my well-being for myself, and my friends and family that own this device.”

Corrine, age 17, says: “I would definitely utilize invisaWear jewelry as my mom currently tracks me with Find My Phone and an AirTag. I would feel much safer walking through dark parking lots after school knowing that help was only a button away. It’s important that the pieces are small and stylish. I would want something to match multiple outfits as I fear I would leave it behind if it didn’t match. However, I think the idea is ingenious and will save future lives.”
