Pic 2 3Tell us about your childhood.

I was always musical, I used to dress up in Disney princess dresses and sing songs to my dogs, and then I grew up watching and listening to a lot of musical theatre, so it’s definitely had an influence on me in many ways! I wrote my first musical at age 10, and started writing pop songs shortly afterwards.

What genre would you describe your music as?

I think I would best describe it as: whimsical ethereal pop.

What has the feedback been like from fans about First Time and After Midnight?

The feedback has been truly amazing! Seeing fans learn the lyrics and sing After Midnight before it was even released was incredible, and the tracks have continued to receive some really lovely comments post tour.

This can be a tough industry. How do you stay positive?

I think having a good support system is key. I’m incredibly lucky to have a group of caring people around me that keep me grounded. I also like to focus on the positives, how much I wanted this career, and how lucky I am to get to make music and do so much of what I love!

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I’m a big gamer, so I play a lot of video games. I also love to draw, and lately I’ve been getting more into writing my own fantasy worlds and stories.

What's next for you, career-wise?

I have an EP called Metamorphosis coming out very soon, as well as a couple exciting collabs next year. I also hope to be back on the road soon!

Who, or what, motivates you musically?

When I released my first ever song, someone had commented they had been feeling really down but my music had really touched them and helped them in that moment. Ever since then, all I’ve wanted is to pursue music and be able to help even one person in that way again. Making something that could resonate with someone is definitely my driving motivator with music.
